FAQs

What's this difference between Cold Process Soap and store soap?

Typical store purchased bath bars are detergent based and not classified as soap.  The Cold Process method is the ancient centuries old method of making real soap.  Basically fatty oils are blended with sodium hydroxide (lye) and water and it turns into soap via a process called saponification.

How long does cold process soap last?

We have been using these soaps for years and they typically last 3-5 weeks of daily use  if properly kept.

We typically ship out within 2-3 days with USPS Priority 2-3 day mail.   Under most circumstances you should receive your soap 4-7 days after ordering.

What is the best way store soap?

How long does it take to ship?

For best results, Soap should be kept as dry as possible between uses.   We recommend a  slotted dish so the soap does not sit in standing water.   Before use the soap should be stored in a cool dry space
